I would like to take the time to wish you and yours a very blessed Thanksgiving!
With the hustle bustle of the Holidays upon us and most of us needing prompted to slow down, I would like to encourage you to take a special breather and join me in something special.
Many people wait for special occasions such as tomorrow to share your thankfulness. I’d like to encourage you to join me daily in being thankful for at least 3 things. You will find yourself to be a much happier and healthier person. Life is meant to be enjoyed and happiness is meant to be shared.
Our family is very busy on a regular basis, but we take the time daily to express our thankfulness and gratitude for our abilities, visions and constant blessings!
You will find the negative events in your life will not be as hard to handle when you are able to see the blessings in your life and focus on them.
If you are the parent of a special needs child, it is a given that there will be some tough days. Make the choice to find the positive in your day. Progress may not always be in leaps and bounds, but any and all progress is good.
I am very thankful daily for the blessing of my son and I am thankful for being the parent chosen for him. I have had many negative events happen in my life and through them all I have chosen to overcome and conquer.
Grab an inexpensive notebook for yourself and your children and join me daily in recording at least 3 blessings. Write down what you are thankful and grateful for daily. Teaching your children early to appreciate their many blessings will play a big part in their lives ahead.
“Oh give thanks to the Lord for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever” Psalms 107:1
Today I am thankful for YOU! I am thankful that you have joined me here at Spectrum Kids in the Outdoors. I have many things that I would like to share. I have learned so much on my journey with my son.
Enjoy your time with your family tomorrow and carry over tomorrow’s Thankfulness in every day to follow.
